* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* ATF fluid (check the type in your car’s owner’s manual)
* Tool set (19mm wrench, 55mm Torx wrench, 8mm Hex key)

Instructions for replacing the automatic transmission filter on a Lada Granta Automatic:
1. Preparation
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
*Wait for the engine and transmission to cool down.
2. Drain ATF fluid
* Start the engine and let it run for 1-2 minutes. This will allow the fluid in the automatic transmission to warm up and drain better.
* Stop the engine.
* Place a container with a volume of about 4 liters under the drain plug of the automatic transmission pan.
* Unscrew the drain plug with a 19 key.
* Drain the liquid into a container.
* Screw the drain plug back into place.
3. Removing the automatic transmission pan
* Unscrew the automatic transmission pan mounting bolts using a 55 Torx wrench. Be careful not to damage the threads.
* Carefully remove the pan from the automatic transmission housing.
* Drain the remaining liquid from the pan.
4. Replacing the automatic transmission filter
* Unscrew the automatic transmission filter mounting bolts with a Hex 8 hex wrench.
* Pull out the old filter and gasket.
* Reinstall the new filter and gasket.
* Tighten the filter mounting bolts.
5. Installing the automatic transmission pan
* Clean the seating surface of the pan and automatic transmission housing from the old gasket.
* Install a new gasket on the pan.
* Screw the pan into place and tighten the mounting bolts.
6. Filling with ATF fluid
* Fill ATF fluid through the dipstick hole. Use a funnel for convenience.
* Fill with the amount of fluid specified in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
7. Checking the fluid level
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Check the fluid level on the dipstick. The level should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks.
*Add fluid if necessary.
8. Final actions
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Reset transmission adaptations by following the instructions in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
Attention:
* Dispose of old ATF fluid responsibly, following local environmental regulations.
* When replacing the automatic transmission filter, it is recommended to also replace the ATF fluid.
* If you are not confident in your abilities, have the automatic transmission filter replaced by a qualified mechanic.
