Materials:

* Automatic transmission oil (type specified in the user manual)
* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Sealant for automatic transmission pan
* Set of socket wrenches
* Spatula or thin screwdriver

Steps:

1. Preparing the car:

* Stop the engine and let it cool.
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Apply the parking brake.

2. Draining the oil:

* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan. It is usually located at the bottom of the tray.
* Place an oil pan under the drain plug.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
*Replace the drain plug and tighten it using a torque wrench to the recommended torque.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Find the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan. Usually there are 10-12 of them.
* Unscrew the bolts and carefully pry the pan out with a spatula or thin screwdriver.
* Move the pan to the side to gain access to the automatic transmission filter.

4. Filter replacement:

*Remove the old automatic transmission filter and compare it with the new one to ensure proper installation.
* Install the new automatic transmission filter in place and secure it with bolts.

5. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Apply new sealant to the pan gasket.
* Reinstall the tray and secure it with bolts.
* Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to the recommended torque.

6. Filling oil:

* Locate the oil fill hole on the automatic transmission. It is usually located on the top or side of the transmission.
* Insert the funnel and start pouring new oil.
* Check the oil level periodically using the dipstick.
*Add oil to the level specified in the owner’s manual.

7. Completion:

* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear lever to all positions and return it back to «park».
* Turn off the engine and check the oil level again.
*Add oil if necessary.

Notes:

* The type and quantity of automatic transmission oil are indicated in the user manual.
* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission filter every 50,000-60,000 km.
* When replacing the automatic transmission filter, it is also recommended to change the oil to remove dirt and deposits.
