Tools and materials:
* New cooling radiator
* New radiator hose
* Antifreeze
* Wrench set
* Pliers
* Screwdriver
* Container for draining antifreeze
Instructions:
1. Draining antifreeze
* Allow the engine to cool.
* Open the radiator cap with care to avoid burns.
* Locate the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator and place a container under it to drain the antifreeze.
* Open the drain plug and drain the antifreeze.
2. Disconnecting hoses
* Loosen the clamps on the radiator hoses using pliers.
* Disconnect the upper and lower radiator hoses.
3. Unscrewing the upper and lower fasteners
*Locate the upper and lower radiator mountings, which are usually bolted on.
* Unscrew the bolts of the upper and lower fastenings.
4. Removing the old radiator
* Carefully lift the old radiator up and out of the car.
5. Installing a new radiator
* Install a new radiator in place of the old one.
* Tighten the upper and lower fasteners.
6. Connecting hoses
* Connect the upper and lower radiator hoses and tighten the clamps.
7. Filling with antifreeze
* Fill the radiator with new antifreeze.
* Add antifreeze to the “MAX” mark on the expansion tank.
8. Removing air from the cooling system
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Turn the stove on high.
* Monitor the engine temperature reading and make sure it is not overheating.
* If necessary, bleed the cooling system by pressing on the radiator hoses to release trapped air.
9. Closing the radiator cap
* When the engine has cooled down, close the radiator cap.
10. Checking the antifreeze level
* A few days after replacing the radiator, check the antifreeze level and top up if necessary.

* Use antifreeze recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
* Flush the cooling system with clean water before installing a new radiator.
* Make sure all connections are tightened properly to prevent leaks.
* Check the thermostat operation after replacing the radiator.
