Required tools and materials:
* Set of keys
* Screwdriver
* 32mm socket
* Jack
* Car stands
* New drive seals (2 pcs.)
* Automatic transmission oil
*rag or paper towels
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
* Apply the parking brake.
* Place the car on a flat surface and secure it with stands.
* Loosen the wheel bolts on the side where you will change the oil seal.
2. Wheel removal:
* Raise the car using a jack.
* Remove the wheel bolts completely.
* Remove the wheel.
3. Disconnecting the drive from the hub:
* Take a 32 mm socket and unscrew the bolt securing the drive to the hub.
* Remove the bolt and pull the drive towards you to disconnect it from the hub.
4. Removing the axle shaft from the gearbox:
*Locate the boot on the inside of the transmission where the axle shaft comes out.
* Carefully pry up the boot with a screwdriver and slide it back.
* Pull the axle shaft out of the gearbox.
5. Replacing the drive oil seal:
* Clean the oil seal seat on the axle shaft and in the gearbox.
* Lubricate the new oil seal with automatic transmission oil and install it in the seat on the axle shaft.
*Using a screwdriver or suitable tool, drive the seal into place until it is firmly seated.
6. Installation of the axle shaft:
* Insert the axle shaft back into the transmission.
* Place the boot on the axle shaft.
7. Installing the drive on the hub:
* Reinstall the drive into the hub.
* Tighten the bolt securing the drive to the hub.
8. Wheel installation:
* Install the wheel onto the hub.
* Tighten the wheel bolts.
9. Lowering the car:
* Slowly lower the vehicle from the jack.
* Tighten the wheel bolts completely.
10. Checking the oil level in the automatic transmission:
* Measure the oil level in the automatic transmission and, if necessary, add it to the required level.
Note: Repeat the procedure for another drive if necessary.
