Required tools and materials:
* New differential
* Set of screwdrivers and wrenches
* Special differential puller
* Transmission sealant
* New gear oil
* Automatic transmission oil filter
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
Replacement procedure:
Disconnecting the differential from the drives:
1. Raise the vehicle and secure it on stands.
2. Disconnect the drive shafts from the differential using a special puller.
3. Remove the nuts and bolts securing the differential to the transmission housing.
Removing the differential:
1. Gently slide the differential out of position to disengage it from the transmission shaft.
2. Remove the differential from the transmission housing.
Installing a new differential:
1. Clean the surfaces of the transmission housing and new differential.
2. Apply sealant to the differential gasket.

1. Lower the vehicle.
2. Check the transmission oil level and add if necessary.
3. Run the vehicle in to ensure the differential is operating properly.

* Use original parts or parts recommended by the manufacturer.
*Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque.
* Do not overtighten fasteners.
