Tools and materials:

* Set of new automatic transmission cooling pipes
* Radiator wrench or pliers
* New or rubber seal
*Transmission Sealant
* Funnel with extension
*Clean cloth or paper towels
* Transmission fluid (Dexron VI)
* Bucket or drain pan

Procedure:

1. Preparation and safety precautions:

* Stop the engine and let it cool.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Park the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Place a bucket or drain pan under the transmission to catch any leaking fluid.

2. Draining transmission fluid:

* Unscrew the transmission drain plug and drain the fluid into a bucket or pan.
* Reinstall the plug with a new washer and tighten it.

3. Disconnecting the cooling pipes:

* Using a radiator wrench or pliers, loosen the coolant pipe fittings on the radiator.
* Carefully remove the tubes, being careful not to spill any liquid.
* Discard old washers.

4. Installation of new cooling tubes:

*Apply transmission sealant to new washers.
* Insert new pipes into the radiator and tighten their fittings.
* Make sure the tubes are tight and not leaking.

5. Connecting the tubes to the transmission:

* Lubricate the O-rings with transformer oil.
* Install new O-rings on the cooling pipes.
* Connect the tubes to the transmission and tighten the fittings.

6. Filling with new fluid:

*Using a funnel with an extension, add fresh Dexron VI transmission fluid to the transmission.
* Fill with liquid until it begins to flow out of the overflow hole.
* Install the overflow plug.

7. Checking the fluid level:

* Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes, shifting through all gears.
* Turn off the engine and wait a few minutes to allow the fluid to drain.
* Check the fluid level using the dipstick. It should be between the “HOT” and “ADD” marks. Add liquid if necessary.

8. Final check:

* Check under the transmission for leaks.
*Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Test drive the vehicle to ensure proper operation of the automatic transmission.

Adviсe:

* Replace automatic transmission cooling pipes every 5-7 years or 100,000-150,000 km.
* Use only original or high-quality spare parts.
* When disconnecting the tubes, be careful not to damage the threads.
* Maintain cleanliness during the entire procedure to prevent contaminants from entering the transmission system.
