Required materials:

* New brake fluid meeting vehicle manufacturer specifications
* Funnel for filling
*Transparent tube with suitable inner diameter
* Container for draining used liquid
* Rags or rags
* Wrench or adjustable wrench
* Jack and stands

Instructions:

1. Prepare the car:

* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Raise the front of the car using a jack and install stands for safety.

2. Identify the brake fluid reservoir:

* Open the hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir.
*It is usually made of clear plastic and has a cap that says “Brake Fluid” or “DOT” on it.

3. Drain the used fluid:

* Clean the area around the drain fitting on the brake fluid reservoir.
* Attach a transparent tube to the drain fitting.
* Place the other end of the tube into the drain container.
* Open the drain fitting using a wrench or an adjustable wrench.
*Wait for the used brake fluid to drain into the container.
* Close the drain fitting when the liquid stops flowing.

4. Fill the reservoir with new fluid:

* Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
*Using a funnel, slowly pour new brake fluid into the reservoir until it is full to the MAX level.
* Tighten the brake fluid reservoir cap.

5. Bleed the brakes:

* Slowly press the brake pedal several times.
* Continue bleeding the brakes until the system is pressurized.
* The brake pedal should become firmer and more responsive.

6. Check the fluid level:

*Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir again.
* If necessary, top up to the MAX mark.

7. Lower the car:

* Slowly lower the vehicle from the stands.
* Make sure the brake pedal is working properly and that there are no leaks in the system.
