Tools and materials:

* Set of keys and sockets
* Transmission fluid (ATF)
* New automatic transmission seals (internal and external)
* Syringe or pump for ATF
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (if changed)
* Rags or napkins
* Gloves
* ATF drain container

Instructions:

1. Preparing the car:

* Place the car on a lift or place jacks under it and install wheel chocks.
* Stop the engine and let it cool.

2. ATF drain:

* Find the automatic transmission pan and unscrew the drain plug.
* Drain the ATF into a prepared container.
* Clean the drain plug and reinstall it.

3. Removing the automatic transmission pan:

* Unscrew the automatic transmission pan bolts.
* Remove the automatic transmission pan gasket and clean the surfaces.

4. Removing the external oil seal of the automatic transmission:

* Find and remove the automatic transmission outer oil seal.
* Clean the surface around the oil seal seat.

5. Installing the internal automatic transmission oil seal:

* Apply a small amount of sealant to the new inner seal.
* Install the new oil seal in place using a suitable tool (eg mandrel).

6. Installing the external oil seal of the automatic transmission:

* Install the new outer oil seal in place.

7. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Install a new gasket on the automatic transmission pan.
* Reinstall the pan and tighten the bolts.

8. Filling with ATF:

* Fill new ATF into the automatic transmission using a syringe or pump.
* After filling with ATF, check the fluid level using the dipstick.

9. Functionality check:

* Start the engine and switch to all automatic transmission modes.
*Check for ATF leaks.

* Replace automatic transmission seals in pairs (internal and external).
* Clean all surfaces before installing new parts.
*Use only the ATF recommended for your model.
