Tools and materials:

* Wrench set
* Screwdrivers (phillips and flathead)
* Oil drain container
* Wrench extensions
* Cardan joint
* New seals (crankshaft, torque converter, shafts)
* Automatic transmission oil (type specified in the operating manual)
* Degreaser
* Sealant

Steps:

1. To ensure safety: Set the vehicle’s parking brake and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Draining the oil: Place a container under the transmission. Loosen the drain plug and drain the oil into a container. Tighten the drain plug.

3. Removing the pan: Using wrenches and a universal joint, unscrew the bolts securing the pan to the automatic transmission. Carefully separate the pan from the transmission, being careful not to damage the gasket.

4. Remove the crankshaft seal: Remove the old crankshaft seal using a flat blade screwdriver or a special seal remover. Clean the oil seal seat from any remnants of the old oil seal.

5. Installing a new crankshaft oil seal: Apply a small amount of sealant to the outer edge of the new oil seal and carefully install it into place. Use a mandrel or suitable tool to press the seal into place.

6. Removing the torque converter oil seal: Remove the torque converter from the automatic transmission. Pry out the old torque converter seal using a flat blade screwdriver or special tool.

7. Installing a New Torque Converter Seal: Apply a small amount of sealant to the outer edge of the new torque converter seal and install it in place. Gently push the oil seal into place.

8. Removing the shaft seals: Remove the old shaft seals from the automatic transmission using a flat-blade screwdriver or a special tool. Clean the oil seal seats.

9. Installing New Shaft Seals: Apply some sealant to the outer edge of the new shaft seals and install them into their seats. Gently press the seals until they are seated.

10. Installing the pan: Install a new gasket on the pan and secure it to the automatic transmission using bolts. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

11. Filling oil: Fill the automatic transmission with the specified amount of new oil. Check the oil level with the dipstick and add if necessary.

12. Battery connection: Connect the negative terminal of the battery.

13. Functional check: Start the engine and check for leaks. Take a test drive to make sure the automatic transmission is working properly.

* Before starting work, wash your hands and tools to avoid contaminating the system.
* Use new bolts and gaskets where necessary.
* Observe tightening torques in accordance with the operating instructions.
* Replace all seals at the same time to avoid future leaks.
