Required tools and materials:

* New automatic transmission
* Automatic transmission oil
* Automatic transmission pan gasket
* Automatic transmission filter
* O-rings
* Tool for draining automatic transmission oil
* Socket wrenches
* Torque wrench
* Scanner for resetting automatic transmission adaptations

Steps to replace an automatic transmission:

1. Preparation

* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Raise the car on a lift or using jacks.

2. Draining the automatic transmission oil

* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan.
* Place a container under the plug and use a tool to unscrew it.
* Drain the oil and place it in a container.

3. Dismantling the automatic transmission

* Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission to the engine.
* Disconnect all electrical connectors and hoses from the automatic transmission.
* Unscrew the automatic transmission mounts.
* Carefully remove the automatic transmission from under the car.

4. Disassembly and assembly of automatic transmission

* Remove the automatic transmission pan using socket wrenches.
* Replace the pan gasket and o-rings.
* Remove the automatic transmission oil filter and replace it with a new one.
* Install the new automatic transmission into place and tighten the bolts securing it to the engine using a torque wrench.
* Connect all electrical connectors and hoses.
* Install the automatic transmission supports.

5. Filling automatic transmission oil

* Fill the automatic transmission with new oil using a funnel.
* The oil level is checked using a dipstick.
*Add the oil level to the required level.

6. Reset automatic transmission adaptations

* Connect the scanner to the car and reset the automatic transmission adaptations.

7. Completion

* Install the automatic transmission pan with a new gasket.
* Tighten the pan bolts.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the oil to circulate through the system.

Notes:

*Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials.
*Follow all manufacturer’s instructions to avoid damage.
* Tighten all bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
* After replacing the automatic transmission, it is necessary to run-in for about 1000 km so that the system adapts to the new unit.
