Materials:

* New automatic transmission handle
*Torx T30 screwdriver
* Plastic trim removal tool

Steps:

1. Remove the protective panel:

*Using a T30 Torx screwdriver, remove the two screws holding the bezel in place around the shift lever.
* Gently pull the panel towards you to remove it.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector:

* Locate the electrical connector at the bottom of the shift lever.
* Press the latch and disconnect the connector.

3. Unscrew the bolt:

* Locate the bolt that holds the shift knob in place.
*Use a T30 Torx screwdriver to remove this bolt.

4. Remove the old handle:

* Pull up on the old shift knob to remove it from the shift lever.

5. Install the new handle:

* Align the new automatic transmission handle with the gear shift lever.
*Press the handle to secure it.

6. Tighten the bolt:

*Use a T30 Torx screwdriver to tighten the bolt holding the new shift knob in place.

7. Connect the electrical connector:

* Connect the electrical connector to the new automatic transmission handle.

8. Install the protective panel:

* Reinstall the protective panel.
* Tighten two T30 Torx screws to secure the panel.

Completion:

Check that the automatic transmission handle is installed correctly by shifting gears. Adjust as necessary to ensure smooth and correct gear shifting.
