Required tools and materials:
* Set of socket wrenches
* Jack
* Stands
* Ratchet wrench
* Flat head screwdriver
* New automatic transmission cushion
* Parts cleaner (optional)
Replacement procedure:
1. Preparation
* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Place stands under the front of the car.
* Raise the front of the car using a jack.
2. Removing the old automatic transmission cushion
* Locate the automatic transmission mount located under the transmission housing.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the cushion to the frame and automatic transmission housing.
*Remove the old pillow.
* If the rubber part of the cushion is damaged, check the driveshaft and other components for wear or damage.
3. Installing a new automatic transmission mount
* Install a new pillow in place of the old one.
* If necessary, clean the installation site from dirt or rust.
* Tighten the bolts securing the cushion to the frame and automatic transmission housing to the torque recommended in the repair manual.
4. Completion
* Lower the car from the jack and remove the stands.
* Start the engine and check if the automatic transmission operates correctly.
