Required materials:
* New automatic transmission oil seal (part number: 93745614)
* Transmission fluid (Dexron VI type)
* Transmission sealant
* Tool set
* Lift or jacks and stands
* Seal puller
Instructions:
1. Raise the vehicle: Raise the vehicle using a lift or jacks and stands. Make sure the vehicle is securely secured.
2. Drain the transmission fluid: Find the automatic transmission drain plug, usually located on the oil pan, and drain the transmission fluid into a clean container.
3. Remove the oil pan: Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission oil pan and carefully remove it. Be careful as the pan may contain transmission fluid residue.
4. Locate the oil seal: The automatic transmission oil seal is located on the rear of the automatic transmission oil pump.
5. Remove the old seal: Use a seal puller to carefully remove the old seal from its seat.
6. Clean the seat: Thoroughly clean the oil seal seat from dirt and old sealant.
7. Apply Sealant: Apply a thin layer of transmission sealant to the inside edge of the oil seal seat.
8. Install a new oil seal: Install the new oil seal into the seat. Make sure it is oriented correctly.
9. Install the oil pan: Reinstall the oil pan and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
10. Fill with transmission fluid: Pour fresh Dexron VI transmission fluid into the automatic transmission through the filler plug. The fluid level is checked using a dipstick.
11. Check the fluid level: Start the engine and let it idle. Check the transmission fluid level and add it if necessary.
12. Lower the vehicle: Lower the vehicle from the lift or jacks.
13. Check for leaks: Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check under the car for transmission fluid leaks.
