Required tools:

* Lift or jack
* Wrenches (socket, ring)
* Flat blade screwdriver
* Long nose tongs
* Transmission sealant
* New gasket and oil pump seal
* New oil and filter for automatic transmission (optional)

The procedure for replacing the automatic transmission oil seal:

1. Preparatory stage:

* Place the car on a lift or securely fix it on jacks.
* Loosen the bolts of the automatic transmission pan drain plug.
* Remove the transmission pan, draining the oil into a container.

2. Removing the oil pump:

* Remove the bolts securing the oil pump to the gearbox housing.
* Remove the oil pump.

3. Removing the old oil seal:

* Using a flat blade screwdriver or long nose pliers, carefully pry and remove the old oil seal from its socket.
* Remove any remaining old sealant.

4. Installing a new oil seal:

* Apply a thin coat of transmission sealant to the new O-ring.
* Install the new oil seal in place using a mandrel or suitable tool.
* Make sure the oil seal is firmly seated in its seat.

5. Oil pump assembly:

* Reinstall the oil pump onto the transmission housing.
* Tighten the mounting bolts.

6. Installing the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the mating surfaces of the pan and transmission housing.
* Install a new gasket on the pan.
* Install the pan and tighten the mounting bolts.

7. Completion:

* Install a new drain plug and tighten it.
* Fill the automatic transmission with new gear oil in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
* Install a new oil filter (optional).
* Check the oil level in the automatic transmission and add if necessary.
* Remove the vehicle from the lift or jacks.

Please note:

* Before starting work, allow time for the vehicle to cool down to avoid burns.
* Use only high quality spare parts.
* The sealant must be compatible with the transmission fluid.
* Regularly check the oil level in the automatic transmission and add it if necessary.
*If you are unsure of your skills, have this job done by a qualified mechanic.
