Required tools:
* New gearbox unit

Procedure:
1. Preparation:
* Make sure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the parking brake is applied.
* Raise the car using a jack and secure it on stands.
* Disconnect the battery.
2. Draining the automatic transmission fluid:
* Find the automatic transmission oil sump and unscrew the drain plug.
* Wait until all the liquid has drained into the container.
3. Removing the automatic transmission:
* Disconnect the transmission control cable from the transmission.
* Disconnect the wiring harnesses and tubes from the box.
* Loosen the bolts securing the torque converter to the flywheel.
* Place a jack under the box and slowly loosen the bolts securing the box to the engine.
* Lower the gearbox.
4. Installation of a new automatic transmission:
* Lift the new transmission into place using a jack.
* Secure the transmission-to-engine mounting bolts.
* Tighten the torque converter to flywheel bolts.
* Connect the wire harnesses and tubes to the box.
* Connect the transmission control cable.
5. Filling with new fluid:
* Pour new automatic transmission fluid into the transmission using a funnel.
* Check the fluid level using the dipstick and add more if necessary.
6. Connecting the battery and adapting the automatic transmission:
* Connect the battery.
* Using a diagnostic scanner, perform automatic transmission adaptation.
*This will activate the various solenoids and valves in the box to work properly.
7. Fluid check and test drive:
* Check the fluid level in the automatic transmission after adaptation.
*Take it for a test drive and make sure the transmission operates smoothly and shifts properly.
