Materials:

* New automatic transmission drive bearing
* Impact resistant bearing puller
* Flat blade screwdriver
* 17mm wrench

Procedure:

1. Prepare the vehicle: Place the vehicle in park and apply the parking brake. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the drive shaft:
* Remove the bolt holding the drive shaft to the wheel hub using a 17mm wrench.
* Disconnect the drive shaft from the hub by pulling it towards you.
* Remove the bolts securing the drive shaft to the transmission.
* Carefully remove the drive shaft from the transmission.

3. Remove the old bearing:
*Use a flat-blade screwdriver to carefully pry the edge of the old bearing out.
* Carefully remove the bearing from its seat using a bearing puller.

4. Install the new bearing:
* Clean the bearing seat with a clean cloth.
* Apply a thin layer of grease to the outer diameter of the new bearing.
* Carefully press the new bearing into the seat using a bearing puller.

5. Install the drive shaft:
*Insert the drive shaft back into the transmission.
* Tighten the bolts securing the drive shaft to the transmission.
* Connect the drive shaft to the wheel hub.
* Tighten the bolt holding the drive shaft to the hub using a 17mm wrench.

6. Connect the battery and check operation:
* Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Start the car engine and check whether the automatic transmission drive is working properly.

Adviсe:

* Use a bearing impact puller to avoid damaging the bearing or seat.
* Be careful not to damage the drive shaft oil seal when installing or removing it.
*If you don’t have a bearing puller, you can use a hammer and chisel, but be careful not to damage the bearing seat.
