Materials:
* New automatic transmission reduction resistor (corresponding to your car model)
* 10 mm hex key
* 12mm wrench
Instructions:
1. Removing the battery terminals:
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Resistor location:
* The resistor is usually located on the right side of the transmission, near the pan.
* It can be attached to the bracket or the transmission itself.
3. Disconnecting electrical connectors:
* Disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor by pulling it straight out.
4. Removing the resistor:
* Remove the 12mm bolt securing the resistor to the bracket or transmission.
* Remove the old resistor.
5. Installing a new resistor:
* Install the new resistor in the same place where the old one was removed.
*Tighten the bolt to 12mm.
6. Connecting electrical connectors:
* Connect the electrical connector to the new resistor by pressing until it clicks.
7. Connecting the battery terminals:
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
