Procedure for replacing Hyundai Getz automatic transmission bearings:

1. Draining the automatic transmission fluid: Place the car on a lift or place it on a flat surface. Open the automatic transmission drain plug and drain the fluid into a previously prepared container.

2. Removing the automatic transmission pan: Unscrew the bolts securing the automatic transmission pan and remove it. Be careful not to spill any remaining liquid.

3. Removing the separator plate: Unscrew the bolts securing the separator plate located inside the pan. Remove the plate.

4. Pressing out old bearings: Using a puller or pry bar, carefully press the old bearings out of the shafts.

5. Cleaning the shafts: Thoroughly clean the shafts of any remaining old bearings and sealant.

6. Installing New Bearings: Apply a small amount of grease to the new bearings and carefully press them onto the shafts. Make sure the bearings are tight.

7. Separator Plate Installation: Reinstall the separator plate and tighten the mounting bolts.

8. Installing a new oil seal: Remove the old oil seal from the automatic transmission pan and install a new one. Make sure the oil seal is seated evenly and tightly.

9. Cleaning and installing the automatic transmission pan: Clean the automatic transmission pan from residual sealant and debris. Apply new sealant to the flat of the pan and install it in place. Tighten the mounting bolts.

10. Filling automatic transmission fluid: Pour automatic transmission fluid into the gearbox through the dipstick hole. Fill until liquid begins to flow out of the hole. Install the dipstick and tighten it.

11. Checking the automatic transmission fluid level: Warm up the car and turn on the engine at idle speed. Check the automatic transmission fluid level using the dipstick. It should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks.

12. Resetting automatic transmission adaptations: Reset automatic transmission adaptations using a scanner or following the procedure described in the vehicle repair manual.

13. Test drive: Make a short test drive to check the operation of the automatic transmission after replacing the bearings. Listen for any unusual noises or vibrations that may indicate a problem.
