Tools and materials:

* Wrench set
* Socket wrenches
* Hex key
* Screwdriver
* Hammer
* New automatic transmission cover gasket
* New automatic transmission bearing
* Solvent or degreaser

Instructions:

1. Preparation:

* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Drain the oil from the automatic transmission.
* Remove the automatic transmission cover.

2. Removing the old bearing:

* Unscrew the bolts securing the bearing to the automatic transmission housing.
* Using a screwdriver or chisel, carefully pry the bearing from the housing.
* Light tapping with a hammer through a block of wood may be necessary.

3. Installing a new bearing:

* Clean the seating surface on the automatic transmission housing with solvent or degreaser.
* Lubricate the inside diameter of the new bearing with transmission oil.
* Install a new bearing on the automatic transmission housing.
* Tighten the bolts securing the bearing.

4. Installing the automatic transmission cover:

* Clean the seating surface of the automatic transmission cover and housing with solvent or degreaser.
* Install a new automatic transmission cover gasket.
* Install the automatic transmission cover onto the housing.
* Tighten the bolts securing the automatic transmission cover.

5. Completion:

* Fill the automatic transmission with oil.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Check the oil level in the automatic transmission and add if necessary.

Adviсe:

* When replacing the bearing, check the condition of other automatic transmission parts, such as gears and gears.
* Use only quality parts and gaskets.
* Observe the correct bolt tightening torque.
* After replacing the bearing, it is recommended to run-in the vehicle without sudden acceleration or gear changes.
