Required materials:

* New automatic transmission selector sensor
* Set of wrenches or ratchets
*Updated transmission fluid (optional)

Replacement Instructions:

1. Preparation:

* Stop the engine and wait until it cools down.
* Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Jack up the front of the vehicle and securely support it with jack stands.

2. Draining transmission fluid (optional):

* If you want to change the transmission fluid, place a fluid collection pan under the automatic transmission oil sump.
* Loosen the drain plug on the oil pan and drain the fluid. Dispose of old fluid properly.

3. Removing the old sensor:

* Locate the automatic transmission selector sensor on the left side of the transmission.
* Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.
*Using a socket wrench or ratchet, loosen and remove the bolt securing the sensor to the transmission.
* Carefully remove the old sensor from the transmission.

4. Installing a new sensor:

* Clean the contact surface on the gearbox from any debris or dirt.
* Lubricate the new sensor gasket with a small amount of transmission fluid.
* Insert the new sensor into the gearbox and tighten the mounting bolt.
* Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.

5. Filling transmission fluid (optional):

*If you have drained the transmission fluid, fill the transmission to the correct level using the dipstick.

6. Completion:

* Lower the vehicle to the ground and remove the jack stands.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Start the engine and check the operation of the sensor by shifting the gear shift lever to different positions.

Adviсe:

*Before disconnecting the electrical connector, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent short circuit.
* Be careful when handling the old sensor as it may contain transmission fluid residue.
* Make sure the new sensor is installed and tightened correctly.
