Steps for re-changing automatic transmission oil:

1. Preparation
* Gather the necessary materials: new automatic transmission oil, automatic transmission filter, automatic transmission pan gasket, waste oil bucket, wrench, funnel.
* Raise the vehicle using a lift or jacks and lower it onto jack stands.
* Disconnect the battery terminals.

2. Draining used oil
* Find the automatic transmission pan drain plug and place a bucket under it.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
* Allow the oil to drain completely.

3. Removing and replacing the filter
* Remove the automatic transmission pan by unscrewing the bolts that hold it.
* Remove the old automatic transmission filter.
* Install a new filter.
* Clean the automatic transmission pan and the adjacent surface of old oil and debris.

4. Installing the automatic transmission pan
* Install a new pan gasket.
* Attach the automatic transmission pan to the transmission and tighten the bolts.

5. Filling with new oil
* Pour new automatic transmission oil into the gearbox through the dipstick hole.
*Use a funnel to avoid spills.
* Fill in the required amount of oil specified in the vehicle’s operating manual.

6. Checking the oil level
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Shift the gear selector to different positions and return to park position.
* Remove the automatic transmission dipstick and check the oil level.
* The oil level should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks on the dipstick.
*Add or drain oil as needed.

7. Final assembly
* Reinstall the battery terminals.
* Lower the vehicle from the supports.

* Repeat automatic transmission oil changes according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Use only the recommended automatic transmission oil for your vehicle.
*If the transmission is very worn, an ATF flush may be required.
* Regularly changing automatic transmission oil will help extend the life of the gearbox and prevent costly repairs.
