* Plastic pin (or flat head screwdriver)

* New oil pump gasket
* New TransFix automatic transmission oil
* Automatic transmission filter (if necessary)
Repair steps
1. Preparation
* Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
* Raise the vehicle on jacks or a lift.
* Remove the lower engine protective cover (if equipped).
2. Removing the torque converter
* Using socket wrenches, remove the bolts securing the torque converter to the flywheel.
*Insert a plastic pin or flathead screwdriver between the torque converter and the flywheel.
* Carefully pry the torque converter to free it from the flywheel.
* Remove the torque converter from the automatic transmission.
3. Disassembling the torque converter
* Remove the bolts securing the front torque converter cover.
*Remove the front cover.
* Carefully remove the torque converter impellers.
* Apply a small amount of new TransFix automatic transmission oil to the O-ring and gasket of the oil pump.
* Replace the O-ring and gasket.
4. Torque converter assembly
* Align the torque converter impellers and insert them back.
* Install the front cover and tighten the bolts.
* Install the torque converter in the automatic transmission.
* Tighten the bolts securing the torque converter to the flywheel.
5. Installation of torque converter
* Align the torque converter with the flywheel and carefully push it into place.
* Using socket wrenches, tighten the bolts securing the torque converter to the flywheel.
6. Completion
* Install the lower engine protection cover (if equipped).
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Install the negative terminal on the battery.
* Add TransFix automatic transmission oil to the required level.
* Start the engine and shift through all gears to make sure the automatic transmission is working properly.
Additional Tips
* When replacing the oil pump O-ring and gasket, make sure they are installed correctly. Improper installation may result in oil leakage.
* When performing this work, maintain cleanliness. If dirt or other foreign objects enter the torque converter or automatic transmission, it may be damaged.
