Location of automatic transmission reduction resistor in Toyota Sx
1. Open the hood.
2. Find the automatic transmission control unit. It is usually located in the lower left corner of the engine compartment, next to the battery.
3. On the automatic transmission control unit, locate the wiring harness that goes to the step-down resistor.
4. Follow the wiring harness to the pull-down resistor.
Buck resistor characteristics:

* Usually black and gray
