Replacing the rear crankshaft oil seal on a Chevrolet Aveo T300 with automatic transmission

Tools and materials:

* Set of keys
* Screwdriver
* Jack
* Car stands
* Oil seal remover
* New rear crankshaft oil seal
* RTV sealant

Instructions:

1. Raise the vehicle and place it on jack stands for safety.
2. Loosen the transmission bolts and disconnect it from the engine.
3. Place a support under the transmission and carefully lower it down.
4. Clean the area around the oil seal with degreaser.
5. Insert the oil seal puller into the oil seal hole and remove the old oil seal.
6. Apply RTV sealant to the new oil seal surface and apply it to the oil seal bore in the engine block.
7. Insert the new oil seal back into the oil seal hole.
8. Put the transmission back into place.
9. Tighten the transmission bolts.
10. Lower the vehicle from the stands.

Additional tips:

*Make sure the new oil seal is the correct size and fits your vehicle.
* Clean all surfaces adjacent to the seal to prevent leaks.
* Apply RTV sealant evenly and do not allow it to get into the oil seal bore.
* Tighten the transmission bolts to the torque specified in the service manual.
