Automatic transmission cooling fitting for Pajero 4
Article:
* Mitsubishi: MR997522 (connection to automatic transmission)
* Mitsubishi: MR830437 (connection to radiator)
Replacement:
1. Remove the lower engine guard, if installed.
2. Open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Find the fittings on the automatic transmission and radiator.
4. Disconnect the cooling hoses from the fittings using an adjustable wrench or pliers.
5. Unscrew the fittings using a wrench or socket.
6. Install new fittings in place.
7. Tighten them to the torque specified in the technical manual.
8. Connect the cooling hoses.
9. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
11. Reinstall the lower engine guard.
Note:
* It is recommended to change the transmission fluid before replacing the coolant fittings.
*For correct installation, use fittings designed for Pajero 4.
