Signs of a faulty transmission radiator in a Mitsubishi Lancer with an automatic transmission:
* Transmission overheating
*Transmission fluid leak
* Rough gear shifting
* Increased gear shift time
* Grinding or vibration when shifting gears
Transmission radiator location on Mitsubishi Lancer:
*Located at the front of the vehicle, in front of the main radiator.
* Connected to the gearbox by pipelines.
Replacing the Mitsubishi Lancer transmission radiator:
Required materials:
* New transmission cooler
* Transmission fluid
* Transmission radiator gasket
* Transmission oil filter
* Tools for removing and installing the radiator (wrench, screwdriver, wrench)
Steps:
1. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
2. Drain the transmission fluid from the gearbox.
3. Disconnect the pipes from the radiator.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the radiator and carefully remove it.
5. Replace the radiator gasket and install a new radiator.
6. Tighten the bolts and connect the pipes.
7. Pour new transmission fluid into the gearbox.
8. Start the engine and check the fluid level and leaks.
