Characteristics of the work:
Conducts maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair and installation of electrical equipment of vehicles, their components and systems; checks the proper functioning of electrical equipment by external inspection and using instrumentation.
Must know:
* structure and electrical circuits of cars;
* types and purpose of electrical equipment and instrumentation;
* technical conditions and standards for electrical and mechanical equipment;
* methods and means of checking the serviceability of electrical equipment by external inspection and using instrumentation;
* rules for maintenance and operation of electrical equipment of automobiles;
* procedure and rules for disassembling, assembling, adjusting and installing components and parts of electrical equipment;
* design and operating rules of the tools and devices used;
* rules for preparing technical documentation;
* requirements for labor protection, industrial safety, electrical safety, fire safety.
