Required materials:
*Transmission oil for Kia Picanto gearboxes (check your owner’s manual for recommended type and quantity)
* Transmission pan gasket
* Automatic transmission filter (optional)
*Tools: wrench, hex keys, funnel, drain container
Instructions:
1. Place the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Raise the car with a jack and secure it with stands.
3. Warm up the engine to operating temperature.
4. Open the drain plug on the transmission oil pan and drain the fluid into a drain container.
5. Remove the oil pan by unscrewing the bolts.
6. Replace the pan gasket with a new one.
7. Clean the tray and magnet from metal particles.
8. Reinstall the tray.
9. Install a new automatic transmission filter (if necessary).
10. Fill in new transmission oil through the dipstick hole.
11. Start the engine and let it idle for about 5 minutes.
12. Check the oil level with the engine running and add if necessary.
13. Lower the vehicle and remove the stands.

* Use gear oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* Check the transmission oil regularly and change it if necessary.
*Follow your owner’s manual for oil change interval and replacement procedure.
* Dispose of used oil properly.
