Materials:

*Engine oil meeting Peugeot specification for your vehicle (usually 75W80 or 75W90)
* New automatic transmission oil filter (if required)
* Automatic transmission pan gasket (if required)
* Automatic transmission drain plug seal ring

Tools:

* Set of keys
* Funnel
* Bucket or tray for collecting used oil
* Gloves

Procedure:

1. Raise the car:

* Raise the vehicle on a lift or place it on stands.
* Make sure the vehicle is securely secured.

2. Remove the engine protection (if equipped):

*If your vehicle has an engine guard, unscrew it and remove it.

3. Find the automatic transmission drain plug:

* Usually the drain plug is located on the bottom of the automatic transmission oil pan.

4. Drain the used oil:

* Place a bucket or tray under the drain plug.
* Carefully unscrew the drain plug with a wrench.
* Allow the used oil to drain completely.

5. Replace the drain plug:

* Clean the drain plug and the area around it.
* Apply a new O-ring to the drain plug.
* Screw the drain plug back into place and tighten it to the required torque.

6. Remove the automatic transmission pan (if necessary):

* If you want to replace the oil filter, you need to remove the automatic transmission pan.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the pan to the automatic transmission.
* Carefully remove the pan and drain the remaining oil.

7. Replace the automatic transmission oil filter (if necessary):

* Find and remove the old oil filter from the automatic transmission pan.
* Install the new oil filter and secure it with bolts.

8. Reinstall the automatic transmission pan:

* Clean the surfaces of the pan and automatic transmission.
* Install a new gasket on the pan.
* Place the pan back in place and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque.

9. Fill with new oil:

* Using a funnel, pour new oil into the automatic transmission through the oil dipstick hole.
* Fill in about 4.2 liters of oil.

10. Check the oil level:

* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear shift lever to each position and return to Park (P) position.
* Check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil level should be between the “Min” and “Max” marks on the dipstick.
*Add oil if necessary.

11. Reset the automatic transmission oil meter (if equipped):

* Some cars have an automatic transmission oil meter. If there is one, it must be reset after changing the oil. Consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual for instructions on how to reset the meter.

12. Install engine protection (if equipped):

*If you removed the engine protection, reinstall it.

Adviсe:

* It is recommended to change the automatic transmission oil every 30,000-60,000 km.
* Use only oil recommended by the manufacturer.
* Do not overfill oil, as this may damage the automatic transmission.
* Check the oil level regularly.
* If you notice any problems with the automatic transmission, contact your mechanic.
