Required materials:
* New automatic transmission solenoid valve
* Set of keys and screwdrivers
* Container for draining oil from automatic transmission
* New gear oil
* Rags
Replacement procedure:
1. Gather the necessary materials.
2. Prepare the car. Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake. Place jacks under the car to raise it.
3. Remove the crankcase protection.
4. Drain the oil from the automatic transmission. Unscrew the drain plug on the automatic transmission oil pan and allow the oil to completely drain into the container.
5. Disconnect the solenoid valve. Locate the solenoid valve on the automatic transmission housing. Disconnect the electrical connector from it and remove the valve.
6. Install a new solenoid valve. Insert the new valve into its body and tighten the bolts. Connect the electrical connector.
7. Fill the automatic transmission with new oil. Open the filler plug on the automatic transmission and pour the required amount of oil into it. Screw in the filler plug.
8. Install the crankcase protection.
9. Check the oil level in the automatic transmission. Check the oil level by warming up the car to operating temperature and changing gears. Add oil if necessary.
10. Clean the automatic transmission oil. Start the engine and let it idle for 5-10 minutes. Change gears several times. This will help circulate the oil and remove air from the system.
11. Lower the car. Lower the car from the jacks.
Adviсe:
* Use only original gear oil recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
* Do not overtighten the bolts when installing the valve.
* After replacing the valve, it is recommended to reset the automatic transmission adaptations so that it can adapt to the new part.
