Gear Shifter:
*P (Park): Locks the transmission when the vehicle is stopped and parked.
* R (Reverse): Places the transmission in reverse.
* N (Neutral): Disconnects the transmission from the engine, allowing the vehicle to roll freely.
* D (Drive): Basic driving mode that automatically changes gears based on speed and load.
* M (Manual): Allows the driver to manually change gears using the gear lever or steering wheel paddle shifters (if equipped).
Usage:
1. Starting the engine: Press the brake pedal, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the “START” position.
2. Gear selection: After starting the engine, move the gear lever to the desired position (eg D for normal driving).
3. Release the brake pedal: Remove your foot from the brake pedal to start the vehicle moving.
4. Switching to manual (if applicable): To switch to manual mode, move the shift lever left to position M. Use the shift lever or steering wheel paddles to shift up or down.
5. Return to automatic mode: To return to automatic mode, move the gear shift lever back to position D.
Adviсe:
* Always stop your car and put it in Park (P) before leaving.
* When shifting to neutral (N), be sure to press the brake pedal to prevent the vehicle from rolling away.
* When driving on steep descents, use manual mode (M) to select a lower gear for better engine braking.
* Check the transmission fluid level regularly and change it according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
