1. Preparation

* Apply a thin layer of sealant to the outer edge of the new oil seal.
*Insert the new oil seal into the mounting hole using a suitable mandrel or socket.
* Tap the seal around the edges to ensure it is firmly seated.

4. Installation of the drive shaft

* Insert the drive shaft back into the gearbox.
* Screw the drive nuts with a torque wrench to the required tightening torque.

5. Refilling transmission fluid

* Pour transmission fluid into the gearbox through the filler plug.
* The fluid level should be within the range of the indicator on the dipstick.

6. Completion

* Lower the vehicle and let it idle for a few minutes to ensure there are no leaks.
* Check the transmission fluid level and add if necessary.
* Clean the area around the oil seal of excess sealant.

Notes:

* It is recommended to replace both drive seals to prevent future leaks.
* Use only transmission fluid recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
