* New speed sensor
* 10 mm spanner
* Phillips screwdriver
* Jack
* Supports
Steps:
1. Ensure safety: Set the vehicle’s parking brake and block the wheels. Place supports under the car.
2. Raise the vehicle: Use a jack to raise the front of the vehicle on the side where the speed sensor is located.
3. Remove the wheel: Use a 10mm socket wrench to loosen the wheel bolts. Lift the wheel and remove it.
4. Locate the speed sensor: The speed sensor is located on the transmission near the drive shaft. It usually has a plastic housing with an electrical connector.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector: Push the connector lock and pull it to disconnect it.
6. Unscrew the sensor mount: Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the bolt that mounts the sensor to the transmission.
7. Pull out the sensor: Pull the sensor to remove it from the transmission.
8. Install the new sensor: Apply a small amount of transmission fluid to the O-ring of the new sensor. Insert the sensor into the gearbox and tighten the mounting bolt.
9. Connect the electrical connector: Insert the electrical connector into the sensor and press the latch to secure it.
10. Install the wheel: Lift the wheel and install it on the hub. Tighten the wheel bolts.
11. Lower the vehicle: Lower the vehicle from the jack and remove the jack stands.

* Before replacing the speed sensor, check that the wires are not damaged or the plugs are broken.
*If a new sensor does not solve the problem, check the wiring or other components of the speed sensor system.
* After replacing the speed sensor, you must reset the trouble codes using a diagnostic scanner.
