Materials:
* New Dexron VI gear oil (approx. 4 liters)
* Funnel
* Drain plug key
* Automatic transmission filter (if necessary)
Instructions:
1. Preparation:
* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Allow the engine to cool.
* Gather the necessary materials.
2. Pumping out old oil:
* Locate the drain plug on the automatic transmission pan.
* Place a container under the car to collect the oil.
* Carefully unscrew the drain plug and drain the oil.
*Be careful as the oil may be hot.
*Wait until the oil has completely drained.
3. Replacing the automatic transmission filter (optional):
* If you decide to replace the filter, disconnect the automatic transmission pan.
*Remove the old filter and install a new one.
* Clean the pan of any remaining oil and metal particles.
4. Filling with new oil:
* Using a funnel, pour new oil through the hole in the automatic transmission dipstick.
* Fill in about 3 liters of oil.
5. Checking the oil level:
* Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* Shift the gear selector to different positions and return to the park position.
*Add remaining oil as needed until the level reaches the «hot» mark on the dipstick.
6. Resetting the oil aging counter:
* To reset the oil aging counter, connect the diagnostic scanner to the vehicle.
* Select the appropriate automatic transmission control module.
*Follow the instructions on the scanner to reset the counter.
7. Completion:
* Close the drain plug and automatic transmission pan.
* Clean any spilled oil from the engine and sump.
* Check the oil level in the automatic transmission after a few kilometers and top up if necessary.

* Transmission fluid change interval varies depending on operating conditions. Consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual for specific recommendations.
*Always use the Dexron VI transmission fluid recommended for your vehicle.
