Materials and tools:
* New gear oil (about 3-4 liters)
*Transmission funnel or syringe
* 19mm wrench
* Rags
* Oil drain container
Procedure:
1. Warm up the engine to operating temperature and turn it off.
2. Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
3. Place a container to drain the oil under the automatic transmission oil pan.
4. Unscrew the drain plug (located on the bottom of the automatic transmission housing) using a 19 mm wrench.
5. Drain the oil into a container until it stops flowing out.
6. Screw the drain plug back in.
7. Pour new gear oil into the gearbox through the filler hole (located on the side of the box). To do this, use a transfer funnel or syringe.
8. Add about 3 liters of oil.
9. Start the engine and let it idle for about 1 minute.
10. Switch through all modes (P, R, N, D, 2, 1) and return to parking mode (P).
11. Check the gearbox oil level again. If necessary, add oil to the “HOT” mark on the dipstick.
Note:
* Do not overfill the gearbox with oil as this may cause damage.
* It is recommended to partially change the automatic transmission oil every 30,000-40,000 kilometers or more often, depending on operating conditions.
* A complete automatic transmission oil change requires special equipment and must be performed at a specialized service center.
