Materials:
* 5 mm hex key
* Flat head screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Turn off the ignition and park the car. Place the gear shift lever in the Park position (P).
2. Open the center console. Press the button or pull the lever to open the top of the center console.
3. Remove the panel around the automatic transmission handle. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry and remove the panels located on both sides of the shift lever.
4. Find the bolt under the automatic transmission handle. Insert the hex key into the bolt located under the automatic transmission handle.
5. Loosen the bolt. Turn the hex key counterclockwise to loosen the bolt, but do not remove it completely.
6. Move the automatic transmission handle up. Pull the shift lever up to disconnect it from the shift rod.
7. Remove the bolt. Carefully remove the bolt after the automatic transmission handle is moved up.
8. Remove the automatic transmission handle. Pull the automatic transmission handle up and remove it from the gear shift rod.
Adviсe:
* Be careful when loosening and removing the bolt as excessive force may damage the shift rod.
* When installing a new automatic transmission handle, be sure to tighten the bolt to the appropriate torque.
