Tools and materials:

* 24 mm socket wrench
*Torx T30 bit
* Flat head screwdriver
* Slotted screwdriver with thin blade
* New automatic transmission drive oil seal (OEM number: 01A 318 199 B)
* Penetrating lubricant (WD-40 or similar)
* Vaseline or gear oil

Procedure:

1. Preparation

* Raise the car and place it on stands.
* Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Clean the area around the oil seal on the automatic transmission drive.

2. Removing the drive shaft

* Spray penetrating lubricant onto the drive nut.
*Using a 24mm socket wrench, loosen but do not remove the nut.
* Insert M12x1.5 hub bolts into the holes on the hub.
* Tighten the bolts to press the drive shaft out of the hub.
* Unscrew the drive nut and remove the washer.
* Pull the drive shaft out of the differential by gently rocking it from side to side.

3. Removing the oil seal

*Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry and remove the old oil seal.

4. Installing a new oil seal

* Lubricate the working surface of the new oil seal with Vaseline or gear oil.
* Insert a new oil seal into the automatic transmission housing. Make sure it is completely seated.

5. Installation of the drive shaft

* Clean the splines on the drive shaft and hub.
* Apply a layer of Vaseline or gear oil to the splines.
* Insert the drive shaft into the differential, aligning the splines.
* Put on the washer and tighten the drive nut. Tighten it to a torque of 250 Nm.
* Insert the drive shaft into the hub and tighten the hub bolts.

6. Completion

* Screw on the T30 Torx socket located next to the oil seal and tighten it.
* Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
* Lower the vehicle to the ground.
* Check the automatic transmission oil level and add if necessary.

Note: If the drive shaft is difficult to press out, you can use a drive shaft puller or apply more penetrating lubricant to the splines and let it work.
