Location of the automatic transmission oil pressure sensor on the Volkswagen Passat B5:
1. Find the automatic transmission under the hood.
2. Inspect the left side of the automatic transmission (driver’s side) near the oil level dipstick tube.
3. The automatic transmission oil pressure sensor is a cylindrical black sensor with an electrical connector.
