Required materials:

* New oil for automatic transmission Nissan CVT Fluid NS-3 (for CVT gearboxes) or Nissan Matic Fluid D (for traditional automatic transmissions)
* New transmission oil filter
* Transmission drain plug washer
* Funnel for filling oil
* Wrenches or sockets of appropriate size
* Tray for collecting used oil

Replacement steps:

1. Preparation:

* Place the car on a flat surface.
* Allow the engine to cool.
* Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands.

2. Draining used oil:

* Locate the drain plug on the transmission.
* Place a tray under the plug.
* Unscrew the drain plug and drain the used oil into the pan.
* Allow the oil to drain completely.

3. Replacing the oil filter:

*Locate where the transmission oil filter is located.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the filter.
*Remove the old oil filter.
* Clean the seating surface and apply a small amount of new oil to the O-ring of the new filter.
* Install the new filter and tighten the bolts.

4. Filling with new oil:

* Locate the filler plug on the transmission.
* Unscrew the filler plug.
* Insert a funnel into the filler hole and fill in new oil.
* Check the oil level using the transmission dipstick and add if necessary.

5. Completion:

* Install the drain plug with a new washer and tighten.
* Install the filler plug.
* Lower the car.
* Start the engine and let it run for about a minute.
* Check the oil level on the dipstick and add if necessary.

Adviсe:

* Change the oil according to the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Use only genuine Nissan automatic transmission oil.
* Check the gearbox oil level regularly, especially after long trips.
* When changing the oil, do not forget to also flush the transmission cooling system.
