Gearbox Nissan Vanette Largo

The Nissan Vanette Largo came with two types of automatic transmissions:

1. 3-speed automatic transmission (E4N71B)

*Old 3-speed automatic transmission.
* Used in early Largo models (until 1999).
* Has a simpler design and fewer features than newer transmissions.

2. 4-speed automatic transmission (RE4F03B)

* More modern 4-speed automatic transmission.
* Used in later Largo models (after 1999).
*Has smoother shifting, improved fuel economy and advanced features (such as torque converter lock-up).

Peculiarities

*Both transmissions are hydraulic, meaning they use fluid to change gears.
* Has Park (P), Neutral (N), Drive (D) and Reverse (R) modes.
* Equipped with a control system that controls gear shifting and protects the gearbox from overheating and other damage.

Service

To ensure proper operation of the Nissan Vanette Largo automatic transmission, regular maintenance is required:

* Replace transmission fluid every 30,000-60,000 km or as recommended by the manufacturer.
* Replace the transmission fluid filter every 60,000-120,000 km or as recommended by the manufacturer.
* Regularly check the transmission fluid for leaks and correct levels.
* Check the condition of the control system and replace worn or damaged components as necessary.
