Nissan Tiida automatic transmission selector illumination lamp

* Flat head screwdriver
Replacement steps:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. This will prevent accidental short circuiting.
2. Remove the panel around the automatic transmission selector. It is usually secured with latches. Gently pull the bottom of the panel until it releases.
3. Disconnect the wire connector from the lamp. Press the connector latch and pull it out.
4. Remove the lamp from the holder. Lightly press and twist the lamp counterclockwise to remove it.
5. Insert the new lamp into the holder. Push it and turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
6. Connect the wire connector to the lamp. Click the connector into place.
7. Reinstall the panel around the automatic transmission selector. Click it into place by pressing until it snaps into place.
8. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
9. Check the operation of the automatic transmission selector lamp. Turn the ignition on to check if the lamp lights up properly.
