Lamp name and type:
* T5 lamp
* Light-emitting diode (LED)
Location:
*On the automatic transmission panel, next to the gear shift lever
Replacement instructions:
1. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the automatic transmission panel:
*Locate the latches on the sides and under the panel.
* Carefully release the latches and pull the panel up to remove it.
3. Disconnect the connector from the lamp:
* Press the connector latch and pull it up.
4. Remove the lamp:
*Grip the plastic part of the lamp and gently pull it straight.
5. Install a new lamp:
* Insert the new lamp into the socket, aligning the tabs and grooves.
* Press the lamp until it clicks into place.
6. Connect the connector to the lamp.
7. Reinstall the automatic transmission panel:
* Insert the guide panels into the corresponding holes.
* Press the panel until it clicks into place.
8. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
9. Check the lamp operation:
* Turn on the ignition and check whether the automatic transmission light is on.
