Required materials:
* New automatic transmission filter
* Automatic transmission housing with new gasket
* Automatic transmission oil (volume depends on the vehicle)
*Clean rag or paper towels
* Wrench for automatic transmission housing bolts
* Funnel
Step by step instructions:
1. Make sure the car is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
2. Place a pan under the car to drain the oil.
3. Unscrew the automatic transmission crankcase drain plug and drain the oil.
4. Tighten the drain plug back.
5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the automatic transmission housing.
6. Disconnect the battery to electronically unlock the automatic transmission (if applicable).
7. Disconnect the vacuum hoses or electrical wiring from the automatic transmission.
8. Remove the old automatic transmission filter.
9. Install a new automatic transmission filter.
10. Reinstall the automatic transmission housing and tighten the bolts.
11. Connect the battery and vacuum hoses or electrical wiring back to the automatic transmission.
12. Fill in new automatic transmission oil through the dipstick hole.
13. Check the oil level and add it if necessary.
14. Start the engine and warm up the car.
15. Shift the gear shift lever to different positions and look for leaks.
16. Pay attention to any unusual noises or problems with the transmission.

* Replace the automatic transmission filter every 30,000-60,000 km or according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
* Use only certified automatic transmission oil recommended for your vehicle.
