Warning about automatic transmission overheating:

* 130°C (266°F) or higher

Causes of automatic transmission overheating:

* Excessive load on the transmission (such as towing heavy loads or driving off-road)
*Low transmission fluid level
* Dirty or clogged automatic transmission filter
* Transmission fluid leaks
* Wear or damage to internal automatic transmission components

Symptoms of automatic transmission overheating:

* Jumps in gear shifting
* Gear delay
* Gear slippage
* Fingers strange noises or vibrations
* The automatic transmission fault indicator on the dashboard is on

What to do if the automatic transmission overheats:
