Required materials:
* Diagnostic scanner (such as MUT-III or Launch X431)
* Laptop with flashing software installed (such as MUT-III or X431 IMMO Elite)
* Updated software for automatic transmission firmware
Step 1: Preparation
*Connect the diagnostic scanner to the car.
* Install the firmware software on your laptop.
* Download the updated automatic transmission firmware software to your laptop.
Step 2: Connect and Backup
* Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
* Log into the flashing software on your laptop.
* Select the make and model of the car (Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2).
* Establish communication with the scanner.
* Create a backup copy of your current automatic transmission software in case you need to restore it.
Step 3: Firmware
* Select the automatic transmission firmware option in the software.
* Select the downloaded updated software.
* Confirm the start of the firmware.
* The software will be downloaded to the automatic transmission and installed.
Step 4: Completion
*Wait until the firmware is completed.
* After the firmware is completed, turn off the ignition and remove the diagnostic scanner.
* Start the engine and check its operation for any problems or improvements.

*Always use the updated firmware software provided by the manufacturer.
* Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the diagnostic scanner’s operating manual.
