Job responsibilities
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and components in automobiles
* Diagnosis and replacement of faulty electronic modules, sensors, wiring and other electrical components
* Installation and configuration of audio systems, navigation devices and other electrical accessories
* Read and interpret diagnostic trouble codes using scanners and diagnostic software
* Carrying out scheduled maintenance and inspections of vehicle electrical systems
* Drawing up reports on work performed and identified faults
* Compliance with safety regulations when working with high voltage electrical systems
* Maintaining cleanliness and order in the work area
Requirements
* Specialized education in auto electrical or related field
* At least 3 years of experience in repairing and maintaining electrical systems of automobiles
*Excellent knowledge of operating principles of automotive electrical systems and components
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software
* Soldering, welding and power tool skills
* Attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem solving ability
*Good physical condition to perform manual tasks
*Certificates and licenses in the field of auto electricians are desirable.
