Operating instructions for a vehicle with an automatic transmission

Starting the engine:

1. Make sure the parking brake is engaged.
2. Move the gear selector to the “P” (park) position.
3. Insert the ignition key and turn it to the “ON” position.
4. Press the brake pedal.
5. Press the engine start button.

Gear selection:

*P (Park): Locks the transmission when the vehicle is parked.
* R (reverse): Move backwards.
* N (Neutral): The transmission is in neutral and the vehicle can roll freely.
* D (drive): Moving forward in all gears.
* L (low gear): Use for low speeds and on inclines.

Gear shift:

* To change to another gear, press the selector and move it to the desired position.
*When shifting into R (Reverse), you must stop completely and wait a few seconds before driving off.

Driving:

1. Press the accelerator pedal to accelerate.
2. Press the brake pedal to slow down or stop.
3. Use steering wheel paddle shifters (if equipped) to manually change gears.

Parking:

1. Stop the car and apply the parking brake.
2. Move the transmission selector to the “P” (park) position.
3. Remove the ignition key.

Additional tips:

*Do not shift into “P” (park) while driving.
* Use the «N» (neutral) position only when necessary, such as when towing.
* Check the transmission fluid level regularly and change it if necessary.
