Job responsibilities:
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems of automobiles
* Replacement and repair of generators, starters, batteries and electrical wiring
* Installation and configuration of car electronics (for example, alarm systems, audio systems, navigation systems)
* Checking and servicing vehicle electrical systems, including lighting, ignition and fuel systems
* Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s technical manuals and specifications
* Drawing up reports on the work done and the condition of vehicles
* Compliance with occupational safety and health regulations
Requirements for candidates:
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an auto electrician or related field
* Knowledge of the principles of operation of electrical systems of automobiles
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment and test instruments
* Excellent soldering and electronics repair skills
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of modern automotive technologies and electronic systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Auto electrician certificate
Additional desirable requirements:
* Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles
* Certificates in the field of automotive electrical
* Knowledge of software for car diagnostics and repairs
