Description:
The left engine mount on the Grant automatic transmission is hydraulic and is designed to dampen vibrations and reduce noise during engine operation. It consists of the following elements:

The rubber damper bushing is filled with liquid, which contracts and expands during vibrations, effectively absorbing vibrations.
When to replace the engine mount:

* When trying to shake the engine, there is excessive play in the support
Procedure for replacing the engine mount:
1. Place the car on a level surface and secure it with the handbrake.
2. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
3. Remove the left front wheel.
4. Using a jack, slightly lift the engine on the left side.
5. Unscrew the nut securing the upper engine mount.
6. Remove the upper support.
7. Unscrew the bolts securing the left engine mount.
8. Remove the left support.
9. Install the new left support in place and tighten the mounting bolts.
10. Install the upper support and tighten the fastening nut.
11. Lower the engine and install the front wheel.
12. Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
