Tools and materials:
* Set of socket wrenches
* Ratchet
* Extensions
* Collar
* 10 mm head
* 13 mm head
* 16 mm head
* 21 mm head
* 27 mm head
* Impact screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
* Wooden block
* New cuff (oil seal) of the left drive
Replacement procedure:
1. Preparing the car
* Place the vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
* Place wheel chocks under the wheels opposite the wheel you are removing.
* Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Wheel removal
*Using a 17mm socket, loosen the wheel bolts.
* Raise the car with a jack and completely unscrew the bolts.
* Remove the wheel.
3. Dismantling the hub
* Disconnect the ABS block from the steering knuckle.
* Unscrew the bolts securing the hub to the steering knuckle with a 16 mm socket.
* Place a wooden block on the brake rotor and gently hit it with a hammer or sledgehammer to dislodge the hub.
4. Removing the drive shaft
* Place a container under the vehicle to collect transmission fluid.
* Remove the drive ring using a flat head screwdriver.
* Remove the outer CV joint from the hub.
* Disconnect the drive shaft from the transmission by moving it outward.
5. Removing the oil seal
* Lubricate the new oil seal with transmission fluid.
*Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry the old oil seal and remove it from its seat.
6. Installing a new oil seal
* Clean the oil seal seat and apply sealant.
* Install the new oil seal into the seat, pressing it lightly.
7. Assembly
* Insert the drive shaft into the gearbox and connect it to the differential.
* Install the stand ring and secure the drive shaft to the hub.
* Screw the hub to the steering knuckle with 16 mm bolts and tighten them to 120 Nm.
* Connect the ABS block.
* Reinstall the wheel and tighten the bolts.
8. Completion
* Pour transmission fluid into the gearbox and check its level.
* Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
* Lower the car and drive it for a few minutes.
* Check for transmission fluid leaks from the drive.
